Training school students on Food safety and health. A Government of Kerala initiative. 1.2.17. Picture taken with Mr Shibu, Food safety commissioner, Mr Sakeer Hussain, food safety officer and their team of dedicated and qualified personnel including doctors. These students represented various schools and were provided education and reference material to go back their respective school and train the rest.

When 150 = 15,000

Gave training to ~150 teachers at Al-Ameen public school yesterday on how to convincingly discuss good heath habits with students. Having given numerous school health talks directly to children over the years, I consider yesterday's experience equivalent to talking with 15,000 children all at once, indirectly through their teachers. ‘Communication skills for Doctors’

'Communication skills for Doctors' at Annual conference of ISG(Indian Society of Gastroenterology) at Medical college Calicut, 7.2.16. This talk was followed, as usual, by a brainstorming session where doctors candidly contributed their individual experiences with communication skills. I constructed this module over several years, based on real-life experiences of patients and doctors, and has thus been updated numerous times.
